Dr van Beljon’s main field of interest is Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery and he offers both open and laparoscopic procedures. He has completed more than 4 000 laparoscopic cholecystectomies, over 200 Whipple procedures and more than 200 liver resections.
Dr van Beljon is committed to a multidisciplinary team approach, which typically includes an anaesthetist, a physician, a radiologist, a physiotherapist and a dietician. Each patient benefits from a treatment regime that is specific to their needs.
