Dr van Beljon’s main field of interest is Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery and he offers both open and laparoscopic surgery. He has completed more than 4 000 laparoscopic cholecystectomies, over 200 Whipple procedures and more than 200 liver resections. He also has a special interest in other major and complex cancer surgeries.

Although Dr van Beljon specialises in HPB surgery, he also offers general surgeries. He prides himself on offering state of the art treatment and an honest opinion.

ABOUT DR VAN BELJON

Dr van Beljon completed his medical degree in 1994 (Surgery Cum laude). During his studies, he realised that surgery was his passion. He completed his post graduate studies in 2000, obtaining both a master’s degree ((MMED (Surg)) and a Fellowship in Surgery ((FCS (SA)).
